Zero trust access and security service edge (SSE): Zero trust access without the VPN or the backhaul.
We design, deploy and support security service edge platforms. Users connect directly to the applications they are allowed to use, internet traffic is inspected close to the user, and slowdowns can be traced to the device, network or application.

Outcomes
Security that follows the user, not the building.
Three capabilities, one client and one policy model. Each one changes something your users and your security team notice.
-
01ZTNA
Private apps without network-level access
Zero trust network access brokers each user to specific applications through outbound-only connectors. There is no inbound VPN listener to expose and no flat network to move across after login.
-
02SWG
The same protection on every connection
A cloud-delivered secure web gateway applies one set of URL filtering, TLS inspection, cloud firewall and DLP policy whether a user is at headquarters, a branch or a hotel, without hauling traffic back to a data center.
-
03DEM
Slowdowns you can actually locate
Digital experience scores and hop-by-hop path analysis show whether a poor experience comes from the device, the Wi-Fi, the ISP, the security cloud or the application itself.
What we deliver
Built capability by capability, run as one platform.
Take one capability or all three. They share the same endpoint client, identity integration and policy model, so we build that foundation once and extend it.
Secure web gateway
SWG- Traffic forwarding through the endpoint client, GRE or IPsec tunnels from branch edges, and PAC files where needed
- TLS inspection policy, root certificate deployment and bypasses for certificate-pinned apps
- URL filtering and cloud application control by user, group and location
- Cloud firewall, intrusion prevention and DNS security rules
- Data loss prevention dictionaries and policies with incident notification
- Sandboxing policy that can hold unknown files until analysis completes
Zero trust network access
ZTNA- Outbound-only connectors in data centers and cloud virtual networks, deployed in redundant pairs
- Application segments defined per app and tightened from discovery data
- Access policy by identity provider group and SCIM attributes, with device posture checks
- Session timeout and reauthentication policies aligned to your risk requirements
- Clientless, browser-based access for third parties and unmanaged devices
- Brokered RDP and SSH access for administrators, without exposed jump hosts
Digital experience monitoring
DEM- Web and network path probes for critical SaaS and private applications
- Experience score baselines by location, department and application
- Alert rules for score drops and device health signals such as CPU, memory and Wi-Fi
- Per-user session tracing for troubleshooting individual complaints
- Service desk roles and a triage runbook built on experience data
Across the platform
- Endpoint client packaging and rollout through your MDM or software distribution tool
- Client profiles, forwarding rules, trusted network detection and fail-open settings
- SAML single sign-on and SCIM provisioning with your identity provider
- Admin roles, audit logs and log streaming to your SIEM
- A phased VPN migration plan with pilot groups and cutover criteria
- Ongoing support: policy tuning, bypass reviews, troubleshooting and release impact reviews
How we work
Migrate in waves. Retire the VPN last.
The plan is built so nobody loses access on cutover day. Every phase has exit criteria, and the VPN stays available as a fallback until the data says it is no longer needed.
-
01
Baseline
We map applications, user groups, VPN usage, internet egress points, existing proxy and firewall rules, and identity provider groups. The result is an application inventory and a target policy model.
Exit: inventory approved, policy model agreed
-
02
Integrate and build
SAML and SCIM with your identity provider, endpoint client profiles, traffic forwarding, the initial TLS inspection scope, application segments from discovery data and experience probes for key applications.
Exit: IT pilot group working end to end
-
03
Pilot and migrate
Users move in waves by department or site. Zero trust access runs alongside the existing VPN so anyone can fall back while issues are fixed, and TLS inspection widens category by category.
Exit: each wave stable before the next begins
-
04
Retire and support
When application segments cover real demand, VPN access is narrowed and then removed. We stay on for tuning, policy changes, client upgrades and troubleshooting, or hand over to your team with runbooks.
Exit: VPN decommissioned, support model in place
Where it fits
For organizations whose users left the perimeter.
Government agencies
Access decided per user, device and application instead of per network, designed with NIST SP 800-207 zero trust principles and your agency's security requirements in mind.
- Per-application access through ZTNA
- Device posture in every access decision
- Centralized logs streamed to your SIEM
-
Regulated enterprises
DLP for sensitive data, TLS inspection with documented bypass categories and audit-ready logs, designed with HIPAA and PCI DSS in mind.
-
Multi-site organizations
Branches break out to the internet locally over GRE or IPsec from existing firewalls or SD-WAN edges, instead of backhauling across the WAN.
-
Hybrid and remote work
The endpoint client applies the same policy at home, on the road and in the office, with trusted network detection deciding how traffic is forwarded.
-
Contractors and acquisitions
Clientless browser access and tightly scoped segments give third parties and newly acquired teams specific applications, not a connection to the network.

Platform experience: Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) · Private Access (ZPA) · Digital Experience (ZDX)
Yes, and we recommend it during migration. With the right forwarding settings, the zero trust client and most VPN clients coexist. Migrated applications are reached through ZTNA while everything else stays on the VPN, and the VPN is narrowed only once application segments cover real demand.
Some applications use certificate pinning or mutual TLS and will not tolerate inspection. We start with a narrow scope, keep a documented bypass list for those applications and for categories such as health and finance where your policy requires it, and widen coverage in stages while watching for breakage.
No. Each capability can usually be licensed and deployed on its own. They typically share the endpoint client and identity integration, so starting with one and adding another later reuses that foundation instead of repeating it.
Yes. We review traffic forwarding, TLS inspection rules, policy order, application segments and admin roles, clean up what has drifted, then support changes and troubleshooting on an ongoing basis.
